In Georgia, like other post-soviet countries, it's a tradition to wear a white shirt on graduation day with a self-expressing painting on the back.
The problem is that, through time, almost everyone loses their Last Bell shirts. Keeping these shirts as memorabilia is an important tradition that lets people hang on to those beloved school memories for the rest of their lives.
This year, similar to the previous years, these colorful shirts would've ended up at the back of their owners' closets. We decided to put these shirts where they can't be lost and safely stored just one click away. So, Zoommer, Georgia's most innovative electronics retailer brand, came to their rescue by storing these shirts in the blockchain. We created lastbell.io to upload images of the backs of the students' shirts.
These Last Bell NFTs were automatically transferred to Opensea, the most popular NFT marketplace, displaying our collection for everyone to see. Accomplished teachers, school staff members, and Georgian artists were composing the jury, who selected the absolute favorites later on, on our so-called "After Graduation party". A lot of fun was had, the chosen ones were awarded, and there was so much hype that some NFTs were even sold.
We finished the campaign with high marks, reaching all graduates across the country. The ad had 6M+ impressions, and we stored 1000 shirt arts in the blockchain! Zoommer once again proved itself to be a true trendsetter.
