During Soviet times Georgia was the leading producer of tea. As a result, the quality of Georgian tea was well known not only in the country but also widely across the region. But the tea-producing tradition was lost, and the market was dominated by low-quality Georgian Products; Until recently, a new brand, “Tamari’s Tea,” entered the market.
But how do you make people believe that Tamaris Tea is a high-quality, premium Georgian brand?
We created a unique packaging design inspired by the legend of the Queen Tamar of Georgia. Her wisdom, beauty, and strength made her be remembered as one of the greatest monarchs in the history of Georgia. The Archetype of Queen Tamar is a perfect combination of premium lifestyle and long-established Georgian traditions.
The packaging shows the goddess of tea ruling natural aromas in the style of Queen Tamar. The illustrations are filled with visual elements from actual dresses and accessories of Queen Tamar.
Three packaging designs have been made separately for Black, White, and Green tea packs.
